Welcome to Scike, operated by Scike Media, a DBA of Turman Solutions, LLC ("Scike," "we," "us"). By creating an account or purchasing a plan or a sponsorship, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Scike provides
Scike is a SaaS platform that provisions a WordPress website and Chat Studio under the scike.ai domain, and provides AI-powered tools to create and publish content. Specific features depend on your plan.
2. Accounts
You're responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account, including any characters or automations you configure.
3. Subscriptions, fees & AI usage
- Plans are billed monthly in US dollars at the listed platform fee and renew automatically each month until cancelled.
- Each plan includes a monthly AI usage allowance measured in Scike Credits. AI usage beyond your allowance is billed as additional credits ($1.20 each), either automatically (if you enable auto-recharge) or capped (if you set a limit).
- AI usage reflects real costs from third-party providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Tavily). Usage is shown in your dashboard.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't store full card numbers.
4. Cancellation, refunds & disputes
- Cancelling. You may cancel anytime from your account or by emailing support@scike.ai. Your plan stays active through the end of the current billing period and does not renew after that.
- No partial refunds. Platform fees are not refunded or prorated for unused time in a billing period, including when you cancel or downgrade mid-period.
- Credits. Included monthly credits do not roll over to the next period. Additional credits are charged as they are used and are not refundable.
- Billing errors. If you were charged twice or charged incorrectly, email support@scike.ai within 30 days of the charge with your account email and the charge date. We'll review it and refund any amount charged in error to your original payment method.
- Disputes. Please contact support@scike.ai before disputing a charge with your bank or card issuer. Most billing questions can be resolved quickly by email.
- Nothing in this section limits any refund rights you have under applicable law.
5. What happens to your site after cancellation
After your subscription ends, your provisioned site and Chat Studio may be suspended and are deleted after a grace period of 30 days. Export your content before then.
6. Sponsorships
Anyone with a store account can sponsor a Scike network site, monthly or once, at an amount they choose. You don't need an account on the site you sponsor.
- What it is. A sponsorship is a voluntary payment to support a site. It buys no goods or services, gives you no control over the site's content, and is not a charitable donation: it is not tax-deductible.
- Where it goes. 90% of each payment, after the card processing fee, is credited to the customer whose Scike plan pays for the site, and is applied to their own Scike bills. Scike keeps the rest, and all of it for sites Scike runs itself.
- Your name. The name you choose appears on the site's Sponsors page, or "Anonymous" if you prefer. Monthly sponsors are listed while their sponsorship is active, one-time sponsors for 12 months. Names must follow the Acceptable Use Policy, and we may hide any that don't. You can change yours at any time under My Sponsorships.
- Monthly sponsorships renew automatically at the same amount until you cancel. Cancelling works as for plans: the sponsorship stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Refunds. Sponsorships are not refundable, except for amounts charged in error (see section 4).
7. Your content & ownership
You own the content you and your characters create. You grant Scike the rights needed to host, process, and display it to operate the service. You're responsible for your content and for having the rights to anything you upload.
8. AI-generated content
Scike uses AI that can be inaccurate, even with research and fact-checking enabled. You are responsible for reviewing and for everything published on your site. Fact-checking and research features are aids, not guarantees.
9. Acceptable use
Your use must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy.
10. Service availability
We work to keep Scike available and reliable but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update or change features over time.
11. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Scike Media is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and its total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Scike in the three months before the claim arose.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; we'll post the new date above and, for material changes, notify you.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
